One Year in a New Zealand Spaceship

We are now coming to the end of our 11th month in our Spaceship, Shenzhou, and preparing to fly out of Auckland in a few days time. Ok, so its not quite a year, but after having spent over 220 nights in Shenzhou, staying in 75 different campsites, and driving over 21,000km to truly see what New Zealand has to offer, who's counting?

This new adventure superhero has touched down from another world, coming to the aid of travellers who want freedom to explore the wilds of this great continent without having to handle a clunky, chunky campervan.

Bus World

I’m at the Spaceship factory (aka Bus World) in Gordonton today. The neighbours on one side have just planted acres of olive trees, and with the café and hair cutters on the other side our workshop is starting to look a bit tired. My dad is very sympathetic to our new neighbours and said ‘we were here first so they have to put up with it’. However, since the front is about to fall off our building and that doesn’t really fit with our market-leading, quality focus, and it’s painted green (which is so nineties), we will have a new fronted orange Spaceship factory soon (that will make the neighbours much happier!)
