Hi Charlie & Spaceships,

We have had a blast in your van, the 2 for 1 tickets came in handy used almost all of them and all were very fun. We are returning the van tomorrow and we'll miss little Ripley very much she was a good companion. Thank you guys for your excellent service!

Earlier this year Mark and I were travelling around NZ in a Spaceship. On the 21st of Jan another Spaceship pulled up beside us in a car park. We got chatting to the other astronauts who were another couple from England. They asked us what we were up to in NZ and we said we had just been paragliding and were getting married later that day! We instantly hit it off with the Tania and Alex and invited then to our wedding. We got married up in the mountains near Wanaka and our wedding car was a Spaceship!

Had a great week, van was perfect-no problems. DVD option was great and the winter warmer pack was fantastic!

Definitely recommending Spaceships to anyone I know coming over here.

we have just finished a 8 and a half week tour around both islands in enterprise aka Barry! he was an absolute gem! Couldnt ask for anything more out of a camper and we did everything we wanted to do! we now know that spaeships hate long wet grass, as we got stuck in it twice! But i couldnt recommend a better camper! The spacestations were awesome and a big thank for all their help and services!

We miss him already! A truely awesome adventure!

Just finished a three week journey from Auckland to Christchurch in our lush Lynx! We had a wicked time and want to thank all the brilliant staff at the Auckland and Christchurch depots (in particular Charlie and Julie)!

We loved Lynx, he was spacious, comfortable and most importantly convenient and flexible!

My hubby & I hired a Spaceship (R2D2) for 14 days in Sept 2009. Wow what an experience! We were blown away by the great customer service as soon as we arrived at the Christchurch office. Our vehicle lived up to all expectations and more. We were always getting stopped and asked lots of questions by other travellers and found the vehicle very easy to use, set-up, drive and it also had lots of storage space.
the amazing thing is that we are both in our 40's and our friends thought we were crazy but we would happily do it all over again.

Just want to shout a big thanks to all the helpful and friendly staff at both the Auckland and Christchurch offices! We had a lovely time travelling NZ in our Spaceship, visiting beautiful places like Abel Tasman and Milford Sound to name a few.

We loved the versatility and freedom we had with our Spaceship, it's such a great way for independent travel and your friendly outgoing staff made it all the more merrier!

We hired a top of the line Spaceship named Avatar at the end of January for a North Island three week escapade and we were not disappointed, it felt like we were floating on clouds for the whole trip as it was such a smooth and comfortable drive! Loved all the mod cons, DVD player, IPOD connector and the bed was great, descent size and very comfortable.

Wish I could go back and do it all over again!

Really recommend this product to anyone contemplating a driving / camping holiday around NZ. Staff were also a pleasure and so friendly to deal with.

We hired a Spaceship for two weeks and visited some stunning places, my Spaceship was great and never let me down. It was easy to drive, comfortable and we loved the I-Pod connector, DVD player and awning.

Spaceship were fantastic to deal with. From the initial booking to when I dropped it off. I did a solo trip during September to mid October 2009 and had the most gnarly time over there and it was due mainly to the fact I had a reliable way of travelling across the beautiful South Island. It was extremely efficient, reliable and cheap. I couldn't count how many times I would cross paths with people who hired from other companies and were jealous of the deal I got. I WILL be back over again for another trip and I guarantee I will be dealing with these guys again. The van came with plenty of deals and the community was great. I met heaps of other Spaceship vans with other great guys and gals piloting them. Best thing about it being Orange is when I accidentally drove it into the bottom of the Tasman Ocean, it was easy to locate from the surface. :D I miss my orange buddy " Able ".

My husband and our two boys travelled the South Island in a Spaceship last October and we had such an amazing time. Our Spaceship was easy to drive, fuel efficient, comfortable and entertaining - we never heard " are we there yet " on the longer drives as the boys always had a movie running on the DVD player at the back and the sheer fact they were travelling in a " Spaceship " was all very exciting for them!

Recommend Spaceships to all ages!

Space Cadets Brett and Lexi landed on planet NZ in their Spaceship Laika for 5 weeks!

All we can say is we came, we saw and we conquered! Spaceships campers are by far a top option for traveling at your own pace and pleasure, our vehicle was enjoyable to drive, spacious and we loved the I-Pod connector and DVD player! Never a dull moment.

My best mate and I hired a Spaceship for a Month in November and we had such a fantastic time living in our home on wheels, meeting awesome people along the way and seing some amazing sights, beautiful country!

I'm now home and it's sooo cold! Wish I was back in beautiful New Zealand exploring the country in my Spaceship Radar, we had so many good times and met so many cool people. Would be great to own a Spaceship as an every day vehicle, I would not need a home!

Unfortunately, we couldn't tell you in person how much we love the Spaceship. It was so comfortable, sexy, economical and finally a real good home for those days. If you would have a scale, we would give you 10/10. The Spaceship made our last week in New Zealand to the best you could have even imagined. We were even thinking about to steal the Spaceship.... Anyway, thank you so much for giving us a great unforgettable time.

We will never forget that!

We are thinking of hiring a spaceship, but my husband is 2 meters tall. It would be just the two of us and I'm not tall at all. How long is the bed when it is extended?

Last December my husband and I, together with our daughter and her partner, travelled for three weeks from Auckland, all around South Island and back again, in a Spaceship.

We were very cosy, but by being well organised we had a fantastic time and would recommend using Spaceships to anyone. We enjoyed it so much, in fact, that my husband and I are visiting New Zealand next March and shall be booking another one for our visit.

I would really recommend it to anyone.

We just arrived home in Kelowna to snow and cold wind (March 2009). We miss the sun, sand, surf, scenery and people we left behind in NZ over the past five weeks! But most of all we miss "Droid" our 1995 spaceship. What a great way to see such a fascinating and beautiful country. Enjoying the well laid out space, watching the stars through the overhead windows at night, the comfort of the Toyota ride and fuel economy were enhanced by the adability to go to special places that many other campers and buses couldn't. We met so many freindly people and shared many stories and laughs on our nearly 7000 kms through this incredibly camper freindly country! Also, excellent service by Spaceship staff, including booking the ferry crossing and recommending a great place to stay after reluctantly giving up the "Droid". We will definately be back for more!

My husband and I rented a camper van from you in November, 2008 for a month. We had an awesome time and really fell in love with our house on the wheels as much as with the nature and people of New Zealand. Thank you a lot for what you do!
