The automatic transmission along with power steering, electric windows, air conditioning and a good stereo provides a luxurious way of travelling.

The Driver’s Seat

The first thing you\'ll notice is that this is definitely not like driving a campervan, motorhome or converted van - this is actually comfortable, air conditioned, easy to drive and great on the road.

It is also much safer and fun to drive compared to a ordinary campervan or motorhome – you definitely won’t be holding up traffic on New Zealand’s windy hilly roads like you would in some of the alternatives!

Spaceships are great in the cities and towns as well, as you can park up in a normal car park, get into underground car parks, and easily manoeuvre around small city streets.

4WD Spaceship Option

Looking to journey to the snow, get further off the beaten track, or just have that piece of mind whilst driving? We have a 4WD Spaceships available - they only cost NZD$10 more per day

The 4WD models are most popular in the winter to hit the ski fields.

They are a safer option when driving in certain parts of the country during the winter months as ice and/or random snow falls can happen at any time.
