Spaceships offer great options to give you the best possible sleeping arrangements for up to four people no matter what the season

Large Comfy Bed

• Sleeps two people comfortably in large double bed.
• Bed can be used inside see option below, or extended out the back for 30% more space and ventilation on those hot summer nights.
• Duvet (doona), pillows and sheets provided
• The bed is set up so you can lie back and watch DVDs (remote control included!)

Spaceships come with a large comfy bed that remains mostly set-up while you are travelling, so you don’t have to keep moving your stuff or re-adjusting the interior of the vehicle when you want to sleep.

In keeping with the unique design features of a Spaceship we have created two sleeping options. With both options you end up with a large double bed that can comfortably sleep two.

The bed can be used inside (with the rear door shut); just simply swivel the rear seat around, then the internal bed legs clamp onto the bed frame (internal bed legs included for free), then get the custom board and bed extension and place on top (this takes about 10 seconds). This is a great option for the winter months and/or when you’re parked in a city or town.

You can also extend your bed out the back and button on a waterproof rear awning (included for free) this uniquely gives you 30% more space and ventilation with a large screened window. This is a great option on those warmer nights and even on colder nights the air flow makes reduces condensation within the vehicle.

Setting up the bed

Keeping Warm in Winter

Using the awning in winter is fine for most people, however you also have the option to keep the back door shut and extend the bed internally on those colder nights or if you are parked in a town centre and what to be more secure. We also have additional winter warmers available.

Unlike an ordinary sleeper van a Spaceship is insulated like a good car and will keep you warmer on those winter nights.

Internal bed legs (so you can extend your bed inside) are included for free as well as two duvets (an extra duvet is included for free over the winter months).
