It details the killer spots that you've come to NZ to see--the unspoilt beaches, swimming holes, free hot springs, waterfalls, and assorted other natural wonders. This guide deals exclusively with free natural places, not all the motels, backpackers, pubs, and tours that most guidebooks cover. This is a guidebook meant for van travellers and every entry lists places (mostly free) to stay in your campervan--the sort of places you want to be, but are frustratingly hard to find without an info (the locals will not tell you these places...they often don't know they even exist because they don't live in a campervan as the author does.)

Don't travel the North Island without this guide, otherwise you'll probably miss out on the exact stuff that you've come half way around the world to experience.
