In the unlikely event of a breakdown, call NZ Roadside Assistance toll free (no costs to call):

✓ Call 0800 772 237 and select option #3

✓ Or call 0508 NZROAD or 0508 69 7623

Let the operator know the vehicle registration number, your contact details, the breakdown location and the nature of the breakdown.

The vehicle is covered for mechanical breakdown. Any driver caused failures will be at the driver's expense as per services in our Supply of Roadside Services document (PDF).

The Dream Sleeper Mini is the luxury campervan in the Spaceships fleet. Some of its key features are:

How to use your Dream Sleeper Mini

Getting to our depots

The Spaceships New Zealand depots are open 363 days a year, from 8am to 5pm. After-hours pick up is available 24 hours a day, even on days we are closed: 25 December and 1 January.

Transfer to the Auckland depot

✓ Picking up between 8am and 5pm) 7 days a week): Call us on the day of your scheduled pick-up on 0800 772 237 (freephone within New Zealand) or +64 9 526 2130 (from overseas) to arrange transfer to our depot.

 

✓ Picking up after-hours (midnight - 7:59am or 5.01pm - midnight): See the instructions that were emailed to you.

Transfer to the Christchurch depot

✓ Picking up during office hours and after-hours: hop on a Super Shuttle and tell the driver you would like to go to the Spaceships Christchurch depot. Super Shuttle is a separate transfer company. There's usually one waiting outside the arrivals hall. Otherwise, one will arrive in a few minutes.
